Rail Transportation Capabilities from our Plant (Kelowna B.C.)

The following envelopes indicate maximum capabilities that can be handled by CN using a flatbed type of car. The centerline of the component being shipped must be inline with the centerline of the car. Combined center of gravity (car and component) must not exceed 98” above top of rail (ATR).

Maximum dimensions for unit when loaded on car series CN – 668000 with two end-idlers, tiedowns and blocking not to exceed the following.

• Load length: 100ft.
• Truck c-c: 64ft
• Overhangs: 18ft

• 12’ -11 wide from 7’-11 to 9’-0 ATR
• 12’-9 wide from 9’-2 to 14’-9 ATR
• 12’-8 wide @ 14’-10 ATR

• 8’-0 wide@17’-7 ATR
• 3’-0 wide@18’-6 ATR

Shipments handled via regular routing with maximum gross weight not to exceed 263,000 lbs.
